Private Lessons
Do not schedule Private Lessons.
If you are now taking a private lesson, the computer
will automatically add lessons at the next level at
the end of the regular scheduling period. Leave enough
room in your schedule for these additional credits.
If you do not want or need the next number (for example, your
curriculum only requires that you take up to PIA 201
and you have been automatically scheduled for PIA 202),you
must ask the chair of the appropriate department to
drop the course. Chairs will schedule students for the
private lesson following VOI 192 and PIA 192 (providing
the class was successfully completed). Requests for
elective private lessons should also be directed to
the chairpersons. Requests for change of teacher in
a private lesson should likewise be addressed to the
chairperson.
Please inform the chair of the department if you are
not planning to return in any given semester or are
not planning to take private lessons for any reason.
